Our Core Values

  1. We value the role of the city church and honor Christ Jesus as our head (Eph. 1:22-23 )  
  2. We come together to attract God creating a place for Him to dwell (Ps. 2:11-12; Is. 66:1-2)
  3. We value and embrace humility looking to Christ as our example (Phil 2:8)
  4. We celebrate serving one another as God leads ( Mark 6, John 6)
  5. We celebrate selfless and extravagant giving (Is 58; Luke 6:30, 38)
  6. We value the journey of transformation as we become more like Christ
    (II Cor. 3:18; Gal. 5:16; Gal. 5:22-26)
  7. We value covenant relationship with God and man (Matt. 22:37-40 and Hosea 2:19-20).
  8. We value Christ-centered community mentoring and discipleship (Titus 2:3-5; Eph. 5) 
  9. We believe Israel is significant in God’s plans for the church and end times

  10. We celebrate worship & prayer as a revelation of the Godhead (Rev. 4 & 5; II Chron. 7:14)   
  11. We value the authority and power of God’s word.  We believe obedience to the word of God is fruit of being in Christ (I John 2:4-5, II Tim. 3:16-17)
  12. We invite and welcome the work of the Holy Spirit
    (John 16:7-8; Acts 1:4-5,8; Acts 2; Acts 10:44-46)
  13. We value the work of the Spirit through all generations with our eyes on Christ’s imminent return
    (Matt. 25:13)
  14. We value the work of the Holy Spirit in the perfecting and equipping of God’s people
    (Eph.
    4:11-16)
  15. We celebrate being called to the nations in body and Spirit (Matt. 28:19-20)
  16. We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven & earth, & in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead & buried. He descended into hell. On the third day, He arose again from the dead, ascended into heaven & sits on the Right hand of God the Father Almighty, from where He shall come to judge the quick & the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy universal church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, & life everlasting.
