• We operate as a wheel within a wheel … representing different parts of the church moving together as God speaks to us, propelling us forward to advance the kingdom of God upon the earth in this hour.

• The HUB is comprised of spoke ministries that carry a forerunning Spirit … each spoke consists of a ministry that equips the body in some way … preparing the Bride for the coming of Christ.

• Our wheel will always turn from a Malachi 4 mandate… working with the Spirit to reconcile fathers, sons etc. bringing the generations together.  Each spoke brings a piece of God’s heart that turn the wheel through equipping for ministry, worship, prayer, feeding the poor and outreach!

The Vision

Nine years ago, fall of 2000, while in a season of fasting and prayer, God met me in Branson, MO, on Prayer Mountain. He began to lay out His plan for a prayer and equipping center that would reach the city, nation, and world. A building appeared with rooms designated for different aspects of prayer and equipping. With each wall of the outer building, He gave a scripture and even a scripture to support the foundation and floor of the building. The ceiling would be sustained by Is. 60:1-22; the walls were reinforced by Heb. 11:1 and Rom. 10/17 while the floor was held in place by the. 8:10. Mark 16:15-20 kept the foundation perfectly stable and gave vision to the center. A sign in the front of the building read, "To the Nations" in bold letters. I saw nations of people coming to be equipped to do the work of the Kingdom. Later, it was expanded, and I saw a wheel with spokes. The HUB of the wheel was intimacy with Jesus and a 24/7 prayer room; the spokes represented every facet of equipping the body to be ready as the end-time church. This work would be a forerunning work in the spirit of John the Baptist as mandated by the Holy Spirit creating a place for the presence of the Holy Spirit to fully equip the body of Christ to carry the Spirit of the Bride as she prepares for the return of the Bridegroom.

Spring of 2008

The Beginning

 

In May of 2008, 75 people gathered in a home to seek the face of God in worship and prayer. Quite simply, we outgrew the house, and began meeting weekly in some borrowed office space on Monday nights for Worship.  As word spread and more began to come to worship, it became clear that the Lord was up to something, and THE OMAHA HUB was born.

 

 

2008

The Journey

 

During the year 2008, we were given space at the hotel conference center off 108^th and Industrial Road. Glory Christian Center offered us the space so that we could continue our worship on Monday evenings. They were amazing as they welcomed us with open arms. One night after worship, a woman walked up to us and said that the Lord told her to offer us her office space that had not been rented or sold within the past 18 months. We knew that it was God and quickly accepted. We moved into 9000 sq. feet and thoroughly enjoyed God’s provision. People continued to come as the Lord prepared feast after feast of food at His table. After 3-4 months, the space was rented and we moved into our current space of 2000 sq. feet. This was a stretch of faith as now the Lord was asking us to believe for the finances every week in order to occupy this space on 10617 Burt Circle.    We moved in Feb. of 2008 and God has been more than faithful. During that first year, God’s people purchased a new keyboard, all the sound equipment, chairs, desks, computers and the list continues. 

 

2009

The New Step of Faith

After only 5 months, we knew that we needed to add space in order to achieve God’s purposes for the HUB. We began praying that God would provide spaces and give us clear direction as to the timing for each major decision. Timing and rest have been clear directives from the Lord. As of August, 2009, we leased a new space in the same facility. We will move into 5480 sq. feet in Sept. Currently, the family is working hard to prepare all the floors, ceilings, and foundation of this new property.
